I just recently found my Christmas gift in my best friend’s room, tickets to see my favorite band. Now I’m scrambling to find a gift that will match his in awesomeness. I was going to get him tickets to see a band too, but the only mainstream bands or even comedians he likes aren’t selling tickets for our area. The other music he is into is very obscure, so they never tour anyway.
So that idea was shot. Now I have no clue what to get him. I have trouble shopping for guys anyways. Any ideas?

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010My organization hosts an annual Christmas party, and as a holiday gift, we give them a small token of appreciation. We have volunteers come in to make 100-200 of these small gifts, but we have little budget. Last year we made cocoa cones with hot cocoa powder, marshmallows, and crushed candy canes. The year before that we made a small ornament or decoration snowflake out of wires and beads. Do you have any ideas for small cheap homemade gifts for this year?

What kind of gifts should we take to kids in the hospital?
Monday, April 19th, 2010So I was thinking today, the holidays are coming up and we all get to opens gifts and spend time with family at home. But what about children in the hospital? I want to start taking up collections of new or slightly used toys to take to children in hospitals on Christmas Day. But I do not know what kind of toys/gifts I should be asking for. I understand that in the children’s hospital there will be different ages and boys and girls, but what type of gifts should we be asking for as donations? Any suggestions?
